UCL का पूरा नाम Update Client Lite (UCL) है। यह Aadhaar Enrolment & Update system का एक client है, जिसका उपयोग authorised Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Centre पर Aadhaar में कई प्रकार की Demographic Details और Photo Update करने के लिए किया जाता है।

पुराने समय में UCL software को लेकर अलग-अलग versions और installation methods इस्तेमाल किए जाते थे, लेकिन अब Aadhaar software, device और operator activation का पूरा process UIDAI की current guidelines और authorised Enrolment Agency/Registrar के अनुसार होता है।

Aadhaar UCL क्या है?

UCL यानी Update Client Lite Aadhaar Update के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाला client software है।

UIDAI के अनुसार UCL के माध्यम से Aadhaar holder की demographic details, photograph और local language details update की जा सकती हैं। Aadhaar holder की authentication biometric के माध्यम से की जाती है और required documents का verification भी process का हिस्सा होता है।

UCL से मुख्य रूप से ये details update की जा सकती हैं:

• Name

• Address

• Date of Birth

• Gender

• C/O Details

• Mobile Number

• Email ID

• Photograph

• Local Language/Transliteration से संबंधित demographic details

ध्यान रखें कि fingerprint और iris जैसे core biometric updates UCL का काम नहीं हैं। ऐसे biometric updates के लिए applicable Aadhaar update client/process का उपयोग किया जाता है।

UCL का पूरा काम क्या होता है?

Aadhaar UCL Centre पर resident जब update के लिए आता है तो सामान्य process इस प्रकार होता है:

Step 1: Resident Aadhaar Update के लिए Centre पर आता है।

Step 2: Operator resident का Aadhaar number/details लेकर required information check करता है।

Step 3: Resident द्वारा दिया गया application/form और supporting document check किया जाता है।

Step 4: Document में दी गई information को Aadhaar update request की information से verify किया जाता है।

Step 5: Operator UCL software में required details enter करता है।

Step 6: Resident को entered information check करने का मौका दिया जाता है।

Step 7: Required biometric authentication किया जाता है।

Step 8: Update request submit की जाती है।

Step 9: Operator और applicable verification process पूरा होने के बाद acknowledgement generate होता है।

Step 10: Resident को acknowledgement/Enrolment ID दी जाती है, जिससे request का status आगे check किया जा सकता है।

UCL और ECMP में क्या अंतर है?

यह बात Aadhaar Operator के लिए समझना बहुत जरूरी है।

UCL – Update Client Lite

UCL का मुख्य उपयोग:

• Demographic Update

• Photo Update

• Local Language Update

• Mobile/Email आदि applicable demographic information

के लिए होता है।

ECMP / अन्य applicable update client

Biometric और अन्य applicable Aadhaar enrolment/update operations के लिए UIDAI द्वारा निर्धारित client/process का उपयोग किया जाता है।

इसलिए यह समझना गलत है कि UCL से Aadhaar का हर प्रकार का update किया जा सकता है।

UIDAI की current information के अनुसार UCL में demographic fields और photo update की सुविधा है, जबकि biometric-related operations के लिए अलग applicable process/client होता है।

Aadhaar UCL चलाने के लिए कौन Eligible है?

सबसे पहले एक important बात:

सिर्फ UCL software install कर लेने से कोई व्यक्ति Aadhaar Update Operator नहीं बन जाता।

Aadhaar enrolment/update का काम करने के लिए authorised ecosystem में onboarding, certification और activation जरूरी है।

UIDAI के अनुसार Aadhaar Enrolment & Update Operator/Supervisor के लिए सामान्य minimum qualification:

• 12th Pass
  या

• 2 Years ITI (10+2)
  या

• 3 Years Diploma (10+3)

कुछ specified categories जैसे IPPB/Anganwadi/Asha workers के लिए अलग qualification provisions हो सकते हैं।

Aadhaar Operator/Supervisor Certificate जरूरी है

Aadhaar Enrolment/Update work के लिए UIDAI की Training, Testing & Certification requirements पूरी करनी होती हैं।

UIDAI स्पष्ट रूप से बताता है कि Aadhaar enrolment/update करने के लिए certification mandatory है और certified candidate को काम शुरू करने के लिए active Aadhaar Enrolment Agency के साथ जुड़ना होता है। UIDAI स्वयं certified candidates को सीधे employment नहीं देता।

इसलिए अगर आप UCL पर काम करना चाहते हैं तो सामान्यतः आपको:

Qualification → Training → Certification → Enrolment Agency से Onboarding → Activation → Authorised Centre पर Work

की प्रक्रिया से गुजरना होता है।

Supervisor के लिए क्या Requirements हैं?

UIDAI के अनुसार Supervisor के लिए मुख्य requirements में शामिल हैं:

• उम्र कम से कम 18 वर्ष

• 12th pass; graduation preferable

• स्वयं का Aadhaar generated होना

• Computer का अच्छा knowledge

• UIDAI authorised Testing & Certification Agency का Supervisor Certificate

• Enrolment Agency द्वारा engagement/activation

• Aadhaar Enrolment/Update process की training

• Local language keyboard और transliteration की समझ

एक authorised Enrolment Centre पर Supervisor की भूमिका centre management और operational supervision में महत्वपूर्ण होती है।

UCL Centre के लिए क्या-क्या जरूरी है?

UCL centre के लिए सिर्फ laptop और fingerprint device होना पर्याप्त नहीं है।

Centre को authorised setup और UIDAI/Registrar/Enrolment Agency की applicable requirements के अनुसार तैयार करना होता है।

Basic Computer Setup

पुराने UCL tutorials में Windows 7, पुराने RAM और पुराने UCL versions जैसी specifications दी गई थीं। इन specifications को आज के setup के लिए final requirement न मानें, क्योंकि software और security requirements समय के साथ बदल सकती हैं।

Current setup में वही hardware/software इस्तेमाल करें जो आपकी Enrolment Agency/Registrar और current UIDAI technical requirements के अनुसार approved हो।

पुराने UIDAI training material में UCL के लिए laptop/desktop, single fingerprint authentication device, printer/scanner और webcam जैसे components का उल्लेख किया गया था।

सामान्य Centre Equipment

एक Aadhaar Update Centre पर applicable setup में सामान्यतः:

• Computer/Laptop

• Approved biometric authentication device

• Approved camera/webcam

• Printer

• Scanner/Printer-cum-Scanner

• Reliable Internet Connection

• USB ports/required connectivity

• Proper power supply

• Required UIDAI-approved software/client

• Required device drivers

• UPS/Power backup

• Clean and suitable working space

जैसे requirements हो सकती हैं।

Important: Device खरीदने से पहले अपने Enrolment Agency/Registrar से approved device list जरूर confirm करें।

UCL Software कहाँ से मिलेगा?

 ध्यान रखें:

UCL Download → Authorised Source

Device Driver → Approved/Official Source

Operator Login → Enrolment Agency/UIDAI authorised activation

किसी third-party modified UCL setup को install करना security risk हो सकता है।

UCL Installation का सामान्य Process

Software version और authorised setup के अनुसार exact installation steps बदल सकते हैं, इसलिए किसी पुराने version की setup file को current version मानकर install नहीं करना चाहिए।

General process:

Step 1

Enrolment Agency से authorised UCL/client package प्राप्त करें।

Step 2

Computer को required hardware के साथ तैयार करें।

Step 3

Required approved device drivers install करें।

Step 4

Fingerprint authentication device connect करें।

Step 5

Camera/Webcam और Printer को configure करें।

Step 6

Authorised UCL client install करें।

Step 7

Required device configuration/test करें।

Step 8

Operator/Supervisor login credentials से client में login करें।

Step 9

Required operator/device synchronisation और configuration complete करें।

Step 10

Test करके ensure करें कि biometric device, camera, printer और internet properly काम कर रहे हैं।

UIDAI training material में operator details synchronisation और client operation से संबंधित प्रक्रियाएं भी दी गई हैं।

Aadhaar Update के लिए कौन-कौन से Documents चाहिए?

Documents update किए जाने वाले field पर depend करते हैं।

उदाहरण के लिए:

Address Update

Valid Proof of Address यानी POA document की आवश्यकता हो सकती है।

Name/DOB Update

Applicable Proof of Identity/Date of Birth document की आवश्यकता हो सकती है।

Mobile Number/Email

Applicable process के अनुसार request submit की जाती है।

Important: हर update के लिए एक ही document जरूरी नहीं होता। UIDAI की latest List of Acceptable Supporting Documents के अनुसार document verify करना चाहिए।

Original documents resident से लेकर verification के बाद वापस करना चाहिए। Operator को submitted documents की copies/details अपने पास रखने की अनुमति नहीं है।

Aadhaar UCL में कौन-कौन से काम नहीं होते?

UCL को लेकर सबसे ज्यादा confusion इसी बात पर होता है।

UCL से सामान्यतः ये काम नहीं किए जाते:

❌ Fingerprint Update

❌ Iris Update

❌ हर प्रकार का biometric update

❌ बिना authorised activation के Aadhaar update

❌ बिना proper document verification के update

❌ किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति के नाम पर operator login से काम

Core biometric update के लिए applicable Aadhaar update client/process का उपयोग किया जाता है।

Aadhaar Update Centre की Current Fees

UIDAI की current published fee information के अनुसार Aadhaar Enrolment Free है।

Aadhaar Update में applicable charges service के अनुसार अलग होते हैं।

UIDAI की current fee page के अनुसार:

Demographic Update

यदि demographic update अलग से कराया जाता है:

₹75

इसमें Name, Gender, DOB, Address, Mobile Number, Email आदि applicable demographic information शामिल हो सकती है।

Biometric Update

सामान्य applicable biometric update charge:

₹125

कुछ age groups में UIDAI द्वारा fee exemption/free provisions भी दिए गए हैं। उदाहरण के लिए 7–15 वर्ष के बच्चों के लिए biometric update 30 September 2026 तक free बताया गया है।

Document Update

Aadhaar Centre पर POI/POA document update:

₹75

MyAadhaar portal पर document update की अलग online सुविधा/fee provision हो सकती है। Current charges समय के साथ बदल सकते हैं, इसलिए service देने से पहले UIDAI की latest fee list check करना बेहतर है।

UCL Operator की Important Responsibilities

Aadhaar Operator का काम सिर्फ software में data भरना नहीं है।

Operator को:

• सही documents check करने चाहिए

• सही information enter करनी चाहिए

• English/Regional language spelling check करनी चाहिए

• Applicant की biometric authentication सही तरीके से करनी चाहिए

• गलत information submit नहीं करनी चाहिए

• Applicant को final data verify करने देना चाहिए

• Documents verification के बाद वापस करने चाहिए

• Applicant के documents की copy अपने पास नहीं रखनी चाहिए

• Applicant का mobile number खुद का नहीं लगाना चाहिए

• Latest UIDAI rules से updated रहना चाहिए

UIDAI की operator responsibilities में इन बातों को स्पष्ट रूप से शामिल किया गया है।

Applicant का Mobile Number Operator को अपना नहीं लगाना चाहिए

यह बहुत important point है।

कई बार customer का mobile number available नहीं होने पर operator अपना number डालने की कोशिश करते हैं।

ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए।

UIDAI operators को सलाह देता है कि resident का अपना mobile number/email दर्ज किया जाए, क्योंकि आगे OTP-based authentication और Aadhaar-related online services में इसकी जरूरत पड़ सकती है।

Aadhaar Data की Security बहुत जरूरी है

Aadhaar data sensitive information है।

इसलिए:

• Aadhaar details किसी unauthorized व्यक्ति को share न करें।

• Operator ID/password किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति को न दें।

• Biometric device unauthorized computer में use न करें।

• Unknown UCL software install न करें।

• Applicant के documents की copy अपने पास न रखें।

• Public computer में Aadhaar data save न करें।

• USB/Internet से unknown files install करने से बचें।

• Operator login को दूसरे व्यक्ति को use न करने दें।

क्या कोई भी CSC VLE UCL चला सकता है?

नहीं।

सिर्फ CSC VLE होना UCL/Aadhaar Update work के लिए अपने आप sufficient नहीं है।

Aadhaar update work UIDAI के authorised ecosystem के तहत होता है। Candidate को applicable qualification, training/certification और active Enrolment Agency द्वारा onboarding/activation की requirements पूरी करनी होती हैं।
